Testimonies
I’ve been incarcerated for 13 years of a 20 year sentence for assault due to a domestic violence situation. I’ve been involved with Pathway to Freedom for right at a year now. One thing that this past year has created in me is the ability to truly participate and open up in a group type situation. I have always been a private person who doesn’t normally find it easy to confide and trust in many people or situations. It has become easier dealing with the past by finding out I am not entirely alone in the things I have faced and gone through.I have learned to trust and work out my feelings with the help of others. I’ve also found a kinship in my sisters in Christ as well as become closer to Him. I look forward to the next phase of the Pathway to Freedom program and working with our volunteers and sponsors. I look forward to utilizing what God has in store for me. I am always open to learning and experiencing God’s love and giving back what I have been given to others. Carole-Tutwiler Annex
